Happy Mother’s Day!

There really isn’t much to say about today except how blessed I am to have such a wonderful, beautiful son.

August 31st, 2006 was the day I had been entrusted such a treasure. My life had been changed for the better. I would not have it any other way.

So! What did we do today, Mother’s Day? Weren’t we supposed to stay home because we already celebrated it yesterday?

But we’re a stubborn, impulsive family! So it means we had to go out.

And we did.

I have always wanted a pet rabbit. So this afternoon when Anson and I were just relaxing and talking, I happened to mention it to him. It wasn’t the first time that I told him that. So, him being very in tuned with my needs, wants and hints, he stood up and said we were going to look for a pet rabbit.

It had rained all day and it was still raining when we left, a little past 6 o’clock in the evening. The national road in Tunasan was flooded. By the time we reached SM Muntinlupa, we just had to turn back and head for the SLEX instead.

We got to Festival Mall by 8 o’clock, and there weren’t any rabbits left at the shop (awww!). But we were all famished from the long stressful drive to even fret about it.

So we had dinner at The Superbowl of China. Sorry, I wasn’t able to take pictures of what we ordered, we were THAT hungry. However, I was able to get a snap each of Alex and Anson while digging into their food.

Slow down, Tiger!

Oh, hubby, how you spoil me so…

Ah… the wonders of good food. Not only did our dinner fill our hunger. It raised our moods, too.

Today’s affair was not a planned Mother’s Day celebration, unlike last night had been, but still a great day.

I have a lovely family to spend it with.
