I was productive yesterday. Worked on some of my blogs – writing, proofreading, fixing the layout and such. I even updated that other blog. I also took time to read and reply to emails and answer advertising inquiries on my homemaking tips blog.

By afternoon I was craving to eat at The Cafe Mediterranean.

And so, I rewarded myself with a nice dinner. Well, Anson did.

Kofta, Baba Ghanoush, Hummus - The Cafe Mediterranean

Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Kofta

For starters, we ordered a sampler plate with Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Kofta. The platter was served with some warm pita bread. Anson enjoyed the Hummus while I went crazy over Baba Ghanoush. Even Alex had some of the Hummus and Kofta and he liked it. Halfway through the appetizer, we ran out of pita bread, so we ordered two more.

Ciabatta Pizza - The Cafe Mediterranean

Ciabatta Pizza for Alex

Alex’s usual order – the Ciabatta Pizza. I remember the first time he ordered it. He did not want to eat the tomato and olives then. Now, he has learned to appreciate tomatoes and olives. He was not able to finish everything, so we took the rest home. He had it again for breakfast this morning.

Portobello Burger - The Cafe Mediterranean

Portobello Burger for me

I chose to have Portobello Burger last night. I was not in the mood for larger servings, the ones I used to order. The burger was so good, I just know I would be having it again soon. Now I have a healthier alternative when I crave for a burger.

Grilled Tuna Gyro

Grilled Tuna Gyro for Anson

Anson’s Grilled Tuna Gyro. It was not a large serving, but OMG it was so filling. And yummy, too! I had a few bites from it and I want to order it for myself the next time we visit The Cafe Mediterranean.

We also ordered Pizza Greca for takeaway. We thought to order something we could bring home. So, this morning, I had two slices of the pizza for breakfast. I had another two just now, for lunch. Alex had two as well.

By the time we got home, we were still so full and so sleepy. We slept right away. I wanted to update my blog already but I could hardly move nor think.

Now on to other online chores!
