… ended up dining in the restaurant.

Cyma

The Accidental Cyma Dinner

I initially wanted hummus and some pita bread. I hinted it to Anson this morning by showing him a blog post with a recipe for hummus. As always he picked it up just as soon as he saw the page. We decided he would drop by Cyma to order some for takeaway.

On his way home he called me to confirm if I still want hummus. I said yes. Then he asked if I wanted some Spinach and Artichoke Fondue as well, and had me look up the price on the Cyma website.

I was more than surprised when he said, “What if we dined in the restaurant tonight?”

I reminded him we were only to have a bit of a takeaway tonight, in addition to what I was supposed to be cooking. But he already made up his mind and told me to get Alex and myself ready, and that he would call the restaurant to make a reservation.

So, we arrived at ATC around half past seven o’clock.

This is what we had for dinner.

Spinach and Artichoke Fondue - Cyma

Spinach and Artichoke Fondue – a must try!

A visit to Cyma is never complete without having their Spinach and Artichoke Fondue. I have a feeling Anson fell in love with the dish. It was THAT good.

Pastitsio - Cyma

Pastitsio, for Alex

The Pastitsio order is specifically for Alex. He loved every bite.

Solomos Angel Hair Pasta - Cyma

Solomos Angel Hair Pasta

The Solomos Angel Hair Pasta is divine! Covered in creamy tomato sauce topped with salmon, feta cheese and romano cheese, this is one of the best pasta dishes I have ever tasted. We ordered the bigger serving, good for 3 persons.

I know, I know. I totally forgot about hummus and pita bread. But we’re already in the restaurant, why not go for the whole shebang?

We were so full that we just had to walk a bit. Went to Ace hardware to buy some plastic boxes – for Alex’s grooming kit and my personal effects. Made a beeline for National Bookstore to buy a couple more supplies for Alex.

Drove home, went to Starbucks Petron SLEX for our usual – Green Tea Cream and Caramel Macchiato.

Watched Memento when we got home. It made my head spin. I know I just have to watch it again.

I could not sleep, went online and tweeted a bit.

It is now four o’clock in the morning and I am still wide awake. Now what?
