You haven’t even finished half of it and you’re already full. Bah.
For the first time, we had dinner at North Park in Alabang Town Center.
It is always so crowded there, so we usually satisfy our cravings for noodles and Tai Pao at their South Supermarket branch. However, as we were walking along the corridor between Gerry’s Grill and Tempura, while choosing the place for tonight’s dinner, we noticed there was an empty booth at North Park.
So that was where we chose to eat tonight.
Alex eagerly waiting for his dinner
We thought their servings weren’t large until we found out we ordered more than we could eat.

There are times when we decide and act impulsively, like on a whim. There are times when we deviate from the plan – like when we dined out when we initially decided on takeaway, or that time when we went out in the middle of the night for some coffee.
It is not that we are fickle-minded creatures. We just love trying out different things.
Last night, we originally planned to have dinner at North Park (in South Supermarket). We even already had our orders thought out – two Tai Pao buns, one light serving of noodles, a bowl of congee and a glass of my favorite Four Seasons Shake.
But as we parked the car, Teriyaki Boy caught my eye. Yes, okay, it was my bright idea to deviate from the plan.
Iced Banana Almond Genmai Cha
So, Japanese food for dinner, it was.

If there is one thing shopkeepers and waiters at ATC would notice about us, it would be the way we dress up. It’s like we’re just at home – Anson in his plain white shirt, pants and slippers (but Nike naman!), Alex in his white sando, pants, jacket and sandals (but Crocs naman!) and me in a medyo pambahay top and skirt and slippers (but Oakley naman!). Lol. Para kaming mga napadpad lang sa mall ng walang plano.
Look at Alex as he eats his fried chicken.
Last night we had dinner at Burger King. Fast food, for a change.
I had their Classic Steakhouse Burger, Anson had their Whopper while Alex had fried chicken w/ rice. I overloaded on fries and drowned in the large soda. But what the heck. I know they’re greasy foods high in calories, but I didn’t care.
Burgers are so yummy.
An uneventful day turned into something wonderful. That’s what yesterday was all about.
I spent the morning working on this blog and doing my daily chores. I had to cajole Anson into coming home early because I still was not feeling very well, but traffic jams seemed to be everywhere yesterday (including a roadblock JUST BECAUSE THE AREA WAS HAVING ITS FIESTA – WHAT THE FUDGE PEOPLE?!?!), it took him three and a half hours to get home.
I let him have a power nap and Alex joined in. Ah, some alone time. I worked on my blog’s new design, mostly doing CSS and adding some HTML snippets here and there. Notice the sidebar? Hah!

Yesterday was so much better than the previous few days. I was kept busy all day, see.
Morning had me blogging and just enjoying my personal time, while both Anson and Alex were sleeping.
By half past eleven o’clock, I had to wake them up and get them ready for the day. I let them sleep in longer, especially Alex who will soon be back at school. So I let him enjoy the last few days of vacation.
Went to SM Sta. Rosa for lunch. There aren’t many restaurants there that we particularly liked. We already tried Flavors of China, but I did not want Chinese food yesterday.
The safest choice was Pancake House.
Hot
Shrimp Salad
One of the reasons we chose the restaurant was because of their Hot Shrimp Salad. Anson had been very curious about it for weeks now.
