Living the Good Life

We love dining out. Table for three, please.

Table for One

Hi! It has been a few days since I last posted. I have been going out A LOT. Anyway let me start getting back my blogging mojo by writing about how Wednesday was for me.

I had a followup with my doctor, Dra. Cheng at UERM last Wednesday. Since my appointment is for one o’clock, I decided to have lunch at Kenny Rogers Roasters.

This is what table for one means to me.

Productivity Gets Rewarded with a Hearty Meal

I was productive yesterday. Worked on some of my blogs – writing, proofreading, fixing the layout and such. I even updated that other blog. I also took time to read and reply to emails and answer advertising inquiries on my homemaking tips blog.

By afternoon I was craving to eat at The Cafe Mediterranean.

And so, I rewarded myself with a nice dinner. Well, Anson did.

Kofta, Baba Ghanoush, Hummus - The Cafe Mediterranean

Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Kofta

For starters, we ordered a sampler plate with Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and Kofta. The platter was served with some warm pita bread. Anson enjoyed the Hummus while I went crazy over Baba Ghanoush. Even Alex had some of the Hummus and Kofta and he liked it. Halfway through the appetizer, we ran out of pita bread, so we ordered two more.

Celebrating Father’s Day at Cyma

Happy Father’s Day, mi amor!

Had a rough start today. I had a really bad bout with allergies which lasted until early evening. By then, it was too late to decide where to eat dinner.

No matter. We love Cyma so much we could eat there every day.

Happy Father’s Day, Daddy!

Something wonderful happened, too.

KFC All Day!

Lazy Saturday!

We were: 1) too lazy to cook food at home and 2) too lazy to go to Alabang Town Center for a proper lunch and dinner.

Lunch at KFC Shopwise

So we went to the nearest KFC for the go-to food of all time – fried chicken. Alex had chicken tenders, while I had their 2-piece fully loaded meal. Anson had a 1-piece fully loaded meal PLUS one fish twister.

Spent the afternoon watching episodes of Camelot. All I can say is, WOW, Eva Green!

Come dinner time, Anson had to go to KFC for some takeaway. We decided on something lighter than what we had for lunch. So he and Alex had one chicken burger each while I had a Caesar Salad.

Continued watching Camelot. Tidied up around the house for a bit. Turned in early.

I wonder what we’ll have tomorrow? It’s Father’s Day.

Double Double Cheeseburger and Fried Chicken

Uneventful day.

Made it interesting by having dinner at McDonald’s ATC. Yes, it was our first time since it re-opened. We missed it so much.

Dinner at McD's ATC

Alexis could not get enough of the fries.

We ordered two double cheeseburger one for Anson and myself and a fried chicken meal for Alex. And we nearly suffocated eating too much fries.

Double Double Cheeseburger

one for momma, one for dada

Why do I always equate McDonald’s food to comfort food?
